TRAXX GIRLS PREMIERES A NEW Saturday night party this week dubbed “The Krash Project.” Held at Club Rain, it is designed for sexy women who love women seeking a place with an international flair.“There is an event I frequent in NYC called Krash. When I go, it’s black people, white people, Spanish people, Haitian people ... the music is hip hop, house, reggae, reggaeton and even some Atlanta krunk,” says Traxx Girls CEO Melissa Scott. “It’s everything. Like all mushed up, krashed together.”Scott enjoyed the energy at this gay-night party so much she decided to transplant it from the Big Apple to the Peach State.“Atlanta is missing entertainment for the grown and sexy ladies who are 21 and up that enjoy the company of women in a sexy atmosphere,” she says.Scott promises the music will include something for everyone.“We have to remember that Atlanta itself is a ‘Krash’ of cultures and people from every corner of the U.S. They come here and are sometimes forced to listen to only hip hop and Atlanta krunk. At Krash we offer a vast variety of music, women and pure atmosphere,” she says. There will be live entertainment, from lip sync performers to celebrity hosts and international DJs.

On March 7 — its debut night — the party features a live human petting zoo with New York’s DJ Mary Mac spinning all night long. The weekly party takes place at Club Rain, nestled in the historic Castleberry Hills of Atlanta just a few blocks from Turner Field.“Its innovative design aligns with the innovation of Traxx Girls, Inc.,” says Avian Watson, spokesperson for Traxx Girls. Managers for Club Rain include Maxine Blue and the club’s space allows for two DJs to spin on any party night.“If someone is uninterested in the music on one side they go to the other side and start partying again,” Scott says. “Club Rain is big but intimate at the same time.”
